Lapidary Art: The Basic Cabochon
2. Rough Holley Blue
This is a chunk of Holley Blue from Oregon, USA. It's about 2"x1 1/2"x 3/4" and medium lavender with some banding. It has a few visible cracks but is fairly clean. Agate is generally nice to cut it is clean, hard and takes a good polish.
