Lapidary Art: Basic Jewelry Photography

Taking your own jewelry slides can be a great way to record your work, help build websites, apply to galleries and shows, make brochures and create promotional material. If you have never taken photos with a 35mm camera I suggest taking a beginner photo class to better understand the cameras functions and light metering. I have added some reading suggestions and links at the end of the demo. This lighting set up is also quite effective with digital cameras.
